Guest Services for Surgery Registration Moving at Mission Hospital - November 2018

Guest services for surgery, including patient check-in, registration and the patient/visitor lobby, as well as valet parking services at Mission Hospital Memorial Campus will move to the Main Visitor Entrance on November 15, 2018.

Mission Health has been transforming since our first hospital opened in a five-bedroom house in Asheville 133 years ago. The latest building block on our evolving journey to continue caring for western North Carolina is the Mission Hospital for Advanced Medicine. As the new facility continues to take shape in preparation to open in 2019, there are some important changes to note if you visit Mission Hospital starting November 15.

What’s changing?

Guest services for surgical procedures and valet services are currently located in the J Building of Mission Hospital Memorial Campus. These will move to the Main Visitor Entrance, which is next to the J Building facing McDowell St.

When these move to the Main Visitor Entrance on November 15, patients and visitors can check in for surgical procedures at the desk in the main lobby area. Patients coming to the hospital for radiology or endoscopy can go directly to the department to check in and register (if you haven’t pre-registered).

Save time and pre-register

Complete your registration by phone to make things easier on your procedure day. If you are coming to Mission Hospital for a surgical procedure, including endoscopy or radiology, consider pre-registering by phone in advance. Our team members in Patient Registration will call you, typically 2-3 days, before your procedure to help you pre-register. If you need to call to pre-register, call 828-213-3290, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm.
