Researchers at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago found that those who ate the most leafy green vegetables had a slower cognitive decline over a five year period than those who rarely or never ate them. Leafy greens include spinach, kale, collards and lettuce. These veggies are a prominent part of the MIND (Mediterranean  Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay) diet.
