Few things say “summer” quite like a tall, refreshing glass of lemonade, and so many lemon-flavored foods and drinks have come out recently to prove just that. If you like lemon flavor but prefer carbonation in your drinks, there’s Sprite Lemonade, which can help satisfy both of those cravings.
We first saw Sprite Lemonade back in February 2019, and the product has officially returned to shelves. As is typical for specialty flavors like this one, this beverage is a limited-time offer. Chances are, if it’s returned once, it will come back again, but you can never be too sure. All of that is to say if you see this in stores, be sure to pick up a case.
Unlike some flavored drinks, rather than just using artificial flavors or the essence of a flavor to give the drink some taste, Sprite Lemonade is made with an actual splash of lemonade inside. Also, while it was first released in plastic bottles, it now comes in cans and 12-packs so you can really stock up.
Contrary to what you might think, Sprite is not already a lemon beverage. While it has some citrus flavoring, this version of the drink really boasts a lemon flavor, making it a refreshing sip for these warmer months.
Of course, for those who are 21 or older and enjoy Sprite, this sweeter soda would be a great base for mixing drinks or adding to a boozy punch. When it comes to lemon-flavored anything in these coming months, there are no limits!
