The latest film in the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, will be out before the end of the year, and the fandom has a lot of varying opinions, feelings, and theories about the final episode of the Skywalker saga. Like whether or not Kylo Ren should find redemption in the conclusion of the trilogy that started in 2015, or, to file under unpopular opinions, if Star Wars is just for kids.
What can’t be denied is that Star Wars mania is about to reach fever pitch as the Dec. 20 release date approaches, and Levi’s is feeling the hype. The denim company just dropped its very own Star Wars clothing collaboration to commemorate the film series, paying tribute to some of its most iconic characters. So if you’re nerding out over Episode IX’s imminent arrival (get in line), you can embrace it with fan gear that’s actually really stylish.
The limited-edition Levi’s x Star Wars collection is streetwear-inspired and full of hoodies, tees, and accessories you’ll want to live in. Think a sweatshirt with an archival Chewbacca action figure graphic and Chewie’s famous “GGWWRGHH!!” growl (that must translate to “may the force be with you”) emblazoned in classic Star Wars type across the sleeves, or classic cotton t-shirts with your choice of Darth Vader, storm trooper or R2D2 graphic.
You can even customize an iconic Star Wars phrase slogan hoodie, t-shirt and tote with your own name, filling in the blank, as in, “[Your Name Here], I Am Your Father,” to really become a part of the franchise’s legacy.
There are hats, beanies and socks to round out your new Jedi wardrobe, but our favorite items from the Levi’s x Star Wars collab are definitely the boldest—the denim Trucker Jacket and 501 Slim Taper Men’s Jeans in a dark wash with allover galaxy print or in a lighter wash with embroidered text reading “I’ve Got A Bad Feeling About This.” These are total collector’s items for Star Wars die-hards, so get ‘em while you can.
